AI policy

This page explains how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in the guides on Tunebite.co.uk. AI is one of our tools. A person tests, checks and rewrites every guide before it is published.

Where AI helps

We use Claude, an AI tool from Anthropic, for parts of the preparation: gathering background on a streaming service or file format, suggesting the structure of a guide and writing a rough first draft. That saves time on routine work and helps us cover the questions a reader is likely to have, such as which edition of a program is needed or which format to choose.

An AI draft is a starting point only. We never publish text exactly as the tool produced it.

What the editor checks

The editor takes over once a draft exists, and most of the work happens here. The editor:

  • follows the steps in the actual software and corrects menu names, buttons and settings that do not match
  • checks features, editions, system requirements and prices against the maker’s own information
  • checks what a streaming service allows, and removes advice that would break its rules or the law
  • removes claims that cannot be confirmed and updates anything that is out of date
  • rewrites the guide so it is clear and easy to follow

AI tools can invent features, mix up versions or describe steps that no longer exist. That is why no AI text is published without this review.

What AI does not do

  • AI does not decide which software we recommend.
  • AI does not test programs or judge how well they record.
  • We do not publish AI-made images that claim to show real software screens, products or people.
  • AI does not answer messages from readers.

Responsibility

The editor and the website’s owner are responsible for everything published on Tunebite.co.uk, whether or not an AI tool helped with the draft. If you find an error, please let us know.

Your information

We do not enter readers’ personal information into AI tools. Messages you send us are handled as described in our privacy policy.

Questions

You can read more about the site and its editor on our about us page. Questions and corrections are welcome through our contact page.

We review this policy as AI tools and the way we work change. The version on this page is the current one.
